Healing Word Fellowship Church was established in August of 2004, under the leadership of Pastor Jermone James, Sr. and Prophetess Keesha James. Our church was ordained by God to help the hurt, broken and the lost so that they may be healed through the word of God. Healing Word Fellowship Church first worship services were held at Thurgood Marshall Elementary School in Chesapeake, Virginia. The ministry relocated to the Comfort Inn Suites in Chesapeake, VA. After two months the ministry grew and the Lord blessed us with a facility on Virginia Beach Blvd. in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Within two years the ministry grew out of the facility and moved to where we are currently located on East Little Creek Rd in Norfolk, Virginia.
Healing Word Fellowship Church has grown from 10 members at Thurgood Marshall Elementary School to over 100 members. Healing Word Fellowship Church is a family-oriented church where people who love the Lord dwell. The presence of the Lord is forever present at Healing Word Fellowship Church.
Our Pastor Jermone James, Sr. and Prophetess Keesha James are believers in operating in the Spirit of Excellence. We believe that all things are possible to them that believe and that all things are possible through Christ Jesus. Healing Word Fellowship Church accepts all of God’s people with open arms and understands that God can use anyone how He chooses. We are a welcoming, giving, and loving ministry where you may come in one way but you will not leave out the same way because “Deliverance Is In Your Praise”!

Healing Word Fellowship Church’s Mission is to gather the remnant children of God and restore them to their original state through the Word of God, to have a place of worship that is committed to meeting the total needs of any person, to establish a place of worship that does more than have church service, but teaches God’s children the living Word of God, shows God’s children how to study and read the word for themselves, and assists God’s children in establishing a relationship of their own with God.
